Academic Capital Government Finance provided:

• $15,000,000, comprising 180 lease schedules, for a major California metropolitan school district to purchase copy machines, computer equipment and other office equipment for administrative use throughout the district.

• $50,000,000, comprising 51 lease schedules, for a state administered health care system. The system is a network of rural hospitals created for the purpose of providing quality health care to the state's rural population. The equipment financed under these schedules ranges from medical equipment, such as X-ray machines, beds, operating room equipment, to computer systems, to telemedicine networks to Hospital renovations and build-outs to various other capital improvement and purchases necessary to equip the hospital to 21st century standards.

• $17,000,000 lease-purchase agreements for a state to acquire a data storage system essential to collecting and administering state-held data.

• $3,500,000 lease-purchase agreement for a state to purchase a central computer hardware and software network to be used for law enforcement message switch (data communications network and storage for the state's and local law enforcement agencies), wants and warrants depository, criminal history database, probations, and fingerprint tracking.

• $3,200,000 lease-purchase agreement for a major east coast university to purchase microwaves and refrigerators for all its dorm rooms. The university then charges the students rental fees for use of this equipment, which generally results in positive cash flow to the school.

• $370,000 lease-purchase agreement for all student computers for a cyber-charter school in Pennsylvania. The school provides distance learning via the Internet for both talented children whose demands outside education prohibit them from attending school in-person and children who have a difficult time getting around due to physical ailments. Our financing of this project was particularly important, since the school was about to begin its first full semester and had no computer equipment in place. Despite the school not having a proven track-record, we were able to secure financing for the project in time for the first day of classes. Ultimately, the school continued to grow and we provided the financing for additional lease schedules used to purchase more computers.
